· ½ cup shortening
· 13/4 cup sifted all-purpose flour
· 1 cup sugar
· 2 ½ teaspoons salt
· 1 egg
· ¾ cup milk with Chariteas Chai
· 1 teaspoon vanilla
Place shortening in mixing bowl. Sift in dry ingredients.
Add egg and half the Chariteas Chai milk; Mix till flour is moistened.
Beat 2 minutes at low speed on electric mixer.
Add remaining milk and vanilla; beat 1 minute longer.
Fill paper bake cups in muffin pans half full. Bake at 375° for 18 – 20 minutes or till done.
Cool; frost with Chariteas Chai Flavor Frosting
